ReKNewed Reflections, LLC (“ReKNewed,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, used, stored, and shared when you use the ReKNewed Reflections mobile application, website, and related services.
ReKNewed Reflections is a Christian note-taking and reflection application designed to help users organize sermon notes, Bible study notes, scripture connections, personal reflections, and related materials.
Information We Collect
Account Information
When you create an account, we may collect:
- Name or username
- Email address
- Authentication information necessary to create and secure your account
Authentication services are provided through Firebase Authentication. ReKNewed does not have access to your account password in plain text.
User Content
When using ReKNewed, you may create, upload, and store content including:
- Sermon notes
- Bible study notes
- ReKNewed reflections
- Scripture references and connections
- Favorites and saved content
- Images
- PDF files
- OCR-extracted text
Your notes and uploaded materials remain associated with your account unless you delete them or delete your account.
Files, Images, PDFs, and Scanning
If you choose to use attachment or scanning features, ReKNewed may process images, PDFs, and text extracted from those files.
Optical character recognition (OCR) features may use Google Cloud services to process images and extract text. Files and related data may also be stored using Firebase and Google Cloud services as necessary to provide ReKNewed features.
Technical and Usage Information
We may collect limited technical information necessary to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the service, such as:
- Device and application information
- Error and diagnostic information
- Subscription status
- Storage usage
- Account identifiers used to connect your account with ReKNewed services
How We Use Information
We may use information to:
- Create and manage user accounts
- Save and synchronize notes, reflections, files, and attachments
- Provide OCR and scanning functionality
- Track cloud-storage usage
- Provide subscription features
- Authenticate users and protect accounts
- Restore purchases
- Respond to support requests
- Maintain and improve the reliability and security of ReKNewed
- Comply with applicable legal obligations
Cloud Storage
ReKNewed may store user content using Firebase and Google Cloud infrastructure.
Free and paid accounts may have different cloud-storage allowances. If an account exceeds its available storage allowance following a subscription change or expiration, existing content may remain available for viewing while certain creation, editing, scanning, or upload functions may be restricted until storage usage is reduced or additional storage is obtained.
ReKNewed does not intentionally delete a user's stored content solely because a paid subscription ends.
Purchases and Subscriptions
ReKNewed may offer optional digital subscriptions for cloud-storage capacity or other app features.
Payments are processed through the applicable app marketplace, including Google Play or the Apple App Store. ReKNewed does not directly collect or store your full credit-card or payment-card information.
RevenueCat is used to help manage subscription status, purchase entitlements, and purchase restoration.
Information related to purchases may therefore be processed by Google Play, Apple App Store, and RevenueCat. These providers process information in accordance with their own privacy policies.
Third-Party Service Providers
ReKNewed relies on service providers to operate certain features. These may include:
- Google Firebase for authentication, databases, and cloud storage
- Google Cloud services for infrastructure and OCR-related processing
- RevenueCat for subscription and entitlement management
- Google Play and Apple App Store for payment processing and subscription management
These services may process limited information as necessary to provide their functions and are governed by their own privacy policies.
Selling or Sharing Personal Information
ReKNewed does not sell your personal information or personal content.
We do not sell your sermon notes, Bible study notes, reflections, images, PDFs, or other private account content.
Information may be shared with service providers only as reasonably necessary to operate ReKNewed, process subscriptions, store user content, provide OCR, maintain security, or comply with legal requirements.
Data Retention
We generally retain account information and stored user content for as long as your account remains active or as necessary to provide the service.
Certain technical, transaction, security, or legal records may be retained for longer periods when reasonably necessary for fraud prevention, legal compliance, accounting, dispute resolution, or service security.
When an account and its associated data are deleted, some information may remain temporarily in backups or records where retention is required for technical or legal purposes.
Account and Data Deletion
Users may delete or deactivate their account through available account settings where provided.
Users may also review the public Account Deletion page or contact ReKNewed for assistance with account or data deletion.
When an account deletion request is completed, ReKNewed will delete or disassociate personal account data and user content as reasonably required, subject to limited technical backups, transaction records, security records, or information we are legally required to retain.

Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect user information.
However, no internet transmission, cloud-storage platform, or electronic storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials.
Children's Privacy
ReKNewed is not directed toward children under the age of 13.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that information from a child under 13 has been collected in violation of applicable law, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.
Advertising
The current version of ReKNewed Reflections does not contain third-party advertising.
If advertising is introduced in a future version, this Privacy Policy will be updated as appropriate to identify relevant advertising or analytics providers and associated data practices.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes in ReKNewed's features, technology, legal obligations, or business practices.
The updated policy will include a revised “Last updated” date.
Continued use of ReKNewed after an updated policy becomes effective constitutes acceptance of the revised policy to the extent permitted by applicable law.
